The EOC Lab uses ICP (Inductively Coupled Plasma) Spectroscopy for elemental analysis of trace metals. Our liquid samples are aerated by argon gas and atomized with a plasma torch. The emission (light) from each sample is measured and compared to standards to give us elemental composition. This tool is used to measure the elemental content of liquid samples.Through precise dilutions, analysis can be performed to the parts per million or even parts per billion range.
